On 01 Jun 2016 “Right to Protection” signed a Memorandum on cooperation for the protection of the rights of internally displaced population  in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region with the First and Third Kharkov local centres, providing free secondary legal aid, the bar Council of Kharkiv region, Kharkiv regional branch of Ukrainian public organization “Union of lawyers of Ukraine”, the Advocates’ Association “Kharkiv regional College of advocates”.

Lubov Butenko, head of Kharkiv office of the the project “Advocacy, Protection and Legal Assistance to the Internally Displaced Population” implemented by “Right to Protection” with the assistance of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), told about the main directions of work of the project and also outlined the legal problems faced by IDPs in Kharkiv region.

All the signatories of the Memorandum expressed their willingness to cooperate and hope for effective implementation of all the terms of the document and his assistance in protecting the rights of internally displaced population.
