For better action in the future, it is time to reflect on the achievements of the 3P Consortium, created by ACTED in 2019 to Prevent, Prepare and Protect (3P) communities and infrastructure from risks of industrial and ecological disasters in Eastern Ukraine.

• In October 2019, ACTED, together with Червоний Хрест України, Право на захист and IMPACT Initiatives – organized the “Mind the Gap!” Conference funded by EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid – ECHO in Kyiv to discuss industrial risks and possible solutions.
• In November, the 3P Consortium supported the organisation of a live simulation of an emergency in conflict-affected Popasna raion (Luhansk oblast). It allowed first responders to practice being better #prepared to respond to emergencies and #protect the population in Eastern Ukraine.
